I was on H-1 B visa for 2 years and suddenly laid of by my company. Does any one know of available options to me - for instance starting new H-1 or possibly changing my sttaus to F-1 etc? What is the grace time period I have to do so without jeopardizing my future green card processing?
Will I be considered out of status if my H-1 starts 30 days - 60 days from the day I was laid off? Please help!!! Thanks.
