I'm having an issue with my GC application and would like to request your kind advice.
My company submitted my green card application through labor certificate RIR process in December, 2004. Just recently, the HR of my company informed me that my RIR had been finally approved and they are ready to file my I-140 and I-485.
Through my own attorney, my I-140 and I-485 were concurrently filed in September 2005 and my I-140 was approved in October 2005- now am waiting for the priority date.
I prefer NIW because it is not employment based. But the downside is that my priority date with NIW is still far from the current one (April 2005). I was told that there might be a way to transfer I-485 between two I-140s- is that true? If it is, could you let me know how to operate it?
