I have been admitted to a top business school and am scheduled to start in August. From the current rate of approvals, it does not seem that my GC will be approved by then as I had earlier hoped and I won't be able to join.
Does anyone think that appealing to my Senator or Congressperson for help will be appropriate in this case? Considering that a GC is really issued for employment purposes, is this a conflict of interest? I really don't want to loose this opportunity to go back to school (although in this market I should probably sit tight in my current job
