Help from people with 2nd FP

I have seen on this forum that some people did 2nd FP within an yr of the first one. Some did right around 15 months.
I was wondering if anyone got the 2nd FP initiated by themselves in any way or just got the notice automatically.

I got the notice for 2nd FP in the mail (my lawyer also got the letter). I never asked CIS about my expired first FP.

I received the 2nd FP notice 3 month after the first FP had expired.
