Hi Guru,
     Please help what I have to do ?..According to IIO my case is hold due
Finger Prints..she says it is approved but it is not in system to match...
with our system. We are waiting for finger print from local finger print office..
may be it is in mailed but not reached to INS...
When I asked where I have to go and what apporach we have to follow ..she said..
wait upto finger print expire.means May\'2002 and on May\'1,2002 called us and
then we will send another copy for finger prints...then we assign the case and approval...
Please let me know what I have to do..my nd: Nov\'23,2000 and lin-01-040-------//

You can handle your issue by 2 or 3 ways.
1. Have your attorney write a letter to them. I know some
people say it goes to trace. Not necesarily. Sometimes this
method worked positevly for many people.

2. Approach congressman/Senator.

May be nothing new here, as you already know these two.

I had almost same kind of a cosmetic issue in my LC case that
delayed my case by 2.5 yrs.
My attorney failed to send the LC application on a back-to-back
A4 sheet. DOL asked us, after 1.5 years, to resubmit the case.
It took another one full year for them to approve.
It was a great pain and sufferings that I had to go thru to
solve that issue in 1998/99.
(JUST TODAY I LEARNED THAT NOW LC IS AVAILABLE ON THE SAME DAY!!!
HERE I\'M HAPPY PEOPLE DON"T HAVE TO GO THRU THE SAME PAIN
THAT I WENT THRU)

In 1999, my H1b renewal took 8 months, becasuse my first visit
to USA had wrong stamping date, one day earlier than my actual
arrival date. It had to go thru various checks and other things.

Now, in my I485, my I140 is in Chennai Consulate because it was
approved for CP and gone there. My attorney again failed to
stop at the NVC center, though I insisted many times to
my attorney to reply for the mail that we receivd from NVC.

Its painful process to go thru all these because your didn\'t
do anything wrong.

Also, wait patiently. Stay cool.
