Help! Freaking out...

I just got my interview letter (that's the good part) but now I discovered that I can't find my original sponsor (I-864) documents. I have a copy of them, but no original. I wonder if I sent it to the USCIS by mistake or just threw it out by mistake, which would be extremely stupid.

So please, please- let me know what I should do, if they ask to see the original of that specific document at the interview at all or if I may luck out and get away with a copy.

Thanks to all and Good Luck (be careful w/your originals!!!)

Don't worry too much. If you are doing AOS - and it sounds as if you are - the Affidavit is an additional document only essential if you are not earning any money, or if you have no money in your account, or if you have no job offer, or no prospects. You also didn't need to have the I-864 since for DV based AOS application the simpler I-134 is accepted. So between now and your interview you could ask your sponsor to fill out the I-134, or wait until the interview and see if they ask for it, in which case you can send it after the interview (it has been done before).
Don't panick, it'll be fine.

Good luck, and by the way when is your interview and where?

i'm not making much money (freelance), but I have bank statements showing that I have savings.
My interview is on February 6th and I'm in NYC.
