Help!! FP check at FBI

I did FP (electronic) a week ago. I checked with FBI today. I gave her my A# from FP notice, which is different from my I-485\'s A#. She said she could not find my FP result.
My questions are: is it right to give her A# from my FP notice?
and should I start worry about it?

Don\'t worry. Mine took about 2 weeks to get to FBI.

Also, the A# on your FP notice should be the same as that on your 485 receipt.

do you think it is a big problem that I485 and FP have different A#s?
Should I talk to IIO about this?

I had similar problem in checking the status at FBI.
FP was sent electronically and when I called after a week
I was told it was not found. Next day I called again it was
processed and sent to VSC. I guess FPs are sent weekly or so
but FBI clears them in a day if its filed electronically.
Keep checking with FBI... Good luck

I think you should check why your A# is different. I was told that the A # (Alien Number) remains the same throughout your GC processing. I could be wrong of course but its best you ask around.

I did my FP on 09/26/2000 in boston. I called FBI today. The lady was very polite. She took the Alien Registration number and
informed me that my prints were sent to Vermont on 09/27/2000. The A# has to be the same in the FP notice as well your
I485. It cannot be different.
