My H-1 expires (3 years) in January of 2004. I am filing for an extension for me and my wife. Simultaneously I am in I-485 pending status. My question is under the column A# which one should I write. Because my A# on my I-129 approval notice is different from the A# on my I-485 receipt notice.
The other question. I have my H-1 & I-94 valid till Jan25, 2004. If I can get my H-1 extension before that its fine. What if I get a month or two late. Would that mean I was out of status for that much time. The international office representative at this university had told me that I would be fine. I wanted a confirmation from you gurus. Please consider this as urgent.
