Help!! - Employment letter needed during Approval?

Can anyone tell me whether one needs to take an employment letter when you get your passport stamped after I-485 is approved?

My I-485 is applied on 07th Sept 1999 & ND is 09/27/1999. Got RFE issued on 12/23/2000 (for employment letter & pay stubs). Sent the response & haven\'t heard yet. There\'s a strong possibility that my whole group may get laid off.

I may not be in a position to produce employment letter again! Please help!!!!

Since you already got an RFE for emp. ver. letter & pay-stubs and you replied to the same, chances are that your application will be approved without further questions. In that case, all you need to take for stamping are the letter of approval, your passport & I-94, any EAD cards & Advance Paroles, if any and 2 photographs. Nothing else.....
