I got two emails from USCIS saying that "On September 24, 2004, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued."

What does it mean? I did call/fax USCIS last week to inquiry my I485 status. If you know about this message or have received the same, please post/reply.

Thanks, Jane

EB2, I485 WAC: 03-087-**** Jan 2003
2nd FP: Aug 25, 2004 FBI cleared Aug 28, 2004
Phone and fax inquiries: Sept 22, 2004

Did you get it for your I485 case? I think, your case has been approved.

If I rember correctly, this is what you receive during EAD/AP approval processes.

yes, the email was for I485 application. it will be great if it is approval. I have done 2nd FP and got cleared. i did change employer 2 months ago and sent an AC21 letter. so it maybe RFE...

thanks, jane

I received same message on my AP application. I was confused too when I first saw it due to other complex situation with this case. Not waiting too long, I received approval notice from my attoney.

So looks like that your case has been approved.

Sometimes they put this message when they remaile a Fingerprint notice or RFE. Therefore this message doesn't mean that your I485 got approved, it means that they have mailed something, that's all.
