help EAD

Is it recommended to go to local INS for first time EAD or it should be sent to Vermont service center? How long does it take to get EAD in either case? I overheard that local INS are not issuing EAD, is this correct???

I'm afraid you have to file at VSC, it is clearly indicated in the form. Usually you need more than two month to get approval.
