I would appreciate some help regarding this issue.
Some background first: I have national interest waiver based 485 AOS pending. currently in H1b status and got a Labor cert based I-140 approved. I have withheld the process at NVC for consular processing by not paying them till i can get my wife (newly married) to come to US on H-4 and i can add her to the process here.
1. Should I wait before i include my wifes name to national visa center so they can generate IV fee bill for her. Should i wait till she gets her h4 visa first or no go ahead and start the process even though she has not yet gotten her non immigrant visa. (In the form for H-4, it asks if you or some one else have applied for Imm visa for you)
2.Should i renew my EAD based on NIW AOS? Will it jeopardize my consular processing GC.
note: I worked for a few months as part time employment on EAD but since then have not worked on it. I currently work for second employer on concurrent H1B
3. If I do renew my EAD will that affect my consular processing? Should i do that now before i pay NVC and proceed with the whole process.
4. The I-765 (EAD form) asks about marital status. Should i just check it as married (that will be different from last year) or also submit marriage certificate and a letter stating the recent change in marital status?
