HELP --- Does post office forward INS mails if address is changed?

I am filling my EAD renewal but suspect I may move to a new place before it gets approved. And I do not want to inform INS that my address is changed inorder to avoid complication.

Many people people in this board said postoffice will not forward INS mails and the mails will be returned to INS. It sounds troubling. I had experience that postoffice did forward my visa approval notices to my changed adress a few years ago. I checked INS mail envelopes. None of them saying "do not forward". It is interesting that the EAD card envelope is not labled as INS but only its address is shown on top. I would like find out if anyone had the experience of NOT receiving EAD card because of change of address. Thank you for any comments

You must tell them about address change

waterlyli,

I don\'t know the answer to your question, but it is irrelevant anyway. If you move, you MUST give INS your new address. Period.

Complications may or may not happen, but it doesn\'t matter, give your new address.
