Dear Sir,
My I-485 application date is 2/9/02 at Nebraska Center based on I-140(EB1). I was told through my senator that my application is under IN DEPTH SECURITY CHECK. I don't even get my EAD approval without personally appearing at the service center and that too for 3-6 months at a time.
I did not know any thing about this web site. My friend who just got his I485 approval told me about this site and I have started using it. Through this site I came to know for the first time about FBI name check which I am going to pursue tomorrow.
Please help me with your valuable suggestions.

Thats a long long time since U have applied for 485..
I think since Ur application is hanging in there for Indepth Security Reason -- there is nothing much U can do even.... As U are applying under EB1 category -- which says itself that U have a good qualifications and work record -- So there is no problem about employment etc ...

So the only thing they want to ensure is that U are not the Wrong type of Guy... Give them wantever time they want -- just relax and let time play 485 into approval..
