I got 3 identical copies of AP two of them with photo and other without photo. My question is should I present all 3 copies to INS officer upon entry back to US? what they will do then?

You only provide one copy when you get back into the country.
You may keep the copy w/o the photograph for your reference.

So you can enter the country twice in the next 1 year after which you reapply for more AP

Absolutely!! you need some document to get back, if AP is the document you want to use then it is required, otherwise you can use your valid H1-visa if you still have it.
