Help - A# on AP wrong

Guys I need help, Please. I received AP from my lawyer. A# on AP papers is different from the A# on ND/RD Receipts. Is it normal? or Something went wrong?

For me, the A# was same. When I received my AP, I had checked all information

and everyhting looked OK. I can double check and let you know tomorrow. It is at my home.

I will talk to my lawyer today/tomorrow. Hope INS didn\'t create 2 entries for me(?) with 2 different A#s.
May be this is the reason why I am not receiving any receipts directly. Too many questions.

In my case, the A# is same for I-485, AP and EAD notices. I got

AP,EAD for myself and my wife without any differences and waiting for FP. Data is in http://www.e-nairobi.com/aos under TSC tracker.

I din\'t apply for AP at all,but in all other receipts(EAD) A# is the same....

Kasim, I looked at my AP. The A# on the AP is exactly the same as in the receipt notice.

Tyhis is also true for my wife. No discrepancies.

Thank you all for your confirmation. I spoke to my lawyer. He said he will fax a letter to INS Texas about the case this week and ask
which A# controls and point out the duplication here.

  I will wait and see. I do not have any travel plans now. Only thing I am concerned here is Will INS react and correct this problem with only ONE Fax? If not I do not know how to convince my lawyer to send fax again?
