i have a big dilemma, anyone care to help. Im on L1 status right now. I came to the US on B visa and changed status on L1. I was approved and they mailed me a valid I94. I plan to go to canada on feb 9 through niagara and stay for 3 weeks. Is it possible to re enter in US with just my valid i94 with no visa stamp using the AVR rule? Does AVR allow L1 status. I also read you cannot use AVR if you will have the visa stamped in US consulate. Im so confused. I booked a visa interview in montreal for feb 22, but if the AVR is possible, ill just cancel my interview and use the AVR since its less than 30 days my stay. Im a filipino citizen. Anybody's advice is welcome. thanks
