Hell of a Problem

I am soo depressed and sad today..
    Reason :- I called INS today about my 485
    My RD is Feb2000.
    My message changed from not found to 240-365 days in December
    I called Dec 6..Officer said "PEnding and with the officer"
    I called Dec 18 or so..Officer said "PEnding and with the officer"
    I called Jan 3 or so..Officer said "Pending and with the officer"
    I called Today ..Officer said "Pending and NOT WITH THE OFFICER"

    Does that mean that my case went to an officer and was put back on the
    shelf

   Please help

Just wondering how you get thru to an officer at TSC so aften...what number do you call coz I can never seem to get thru.
