Health Insurance in India

Hi All,
I am researching about buying health insurance for my parents in India. Could anyone post their experiance in this area.

Sorry for posting a non-immigration issue here. But I am sure this is an important issue for most of us.

My parents bought their insurace from New India Assurance. What I personally think is the insurace we get in India is nothing but a piece of crap. They have a $1000 deductable. And visit you endup paying $50. The big screwup is you need to pay for the treatment upfront as doctors do not honour this insurace. The insurance expects you to mail those payments to London for a reimbursement which they say may take upto 6 months. If I were you, I would rather buy some local Insuarance here in US. Atleast we could get reimbursed faster.

My question is about buying insurance for them in India, not when they are travelling abroad.

I am looking for some scheme which has good service and reasonable priced.
