Health Insurance for Green card holder parents - Details needed

Hi all:

I would like to apply for health insurance for my parents who are going to become green card holders. I am aware i cant avail of medicaid or medicare or any other govt health insurance plans. I do not want to be a public charge. I am ready to pay from my own pockets. But ia m not exactly sure about the cost of general health insurance for my parents. I have heard stories that premiums can go to 2000 dollars per person per month or is it semi annual or is it annual. What iw ould like to know is the general cost of health insurance. My parents do not have any pre existing conditions and they are 60-64 years old. Kindly let me know the costs of private health insurance plans .. what is the range per month or per year

This is not a health insurance forum... :rolleyes:

But anyways, just google: Health Insurance and sign up for a free quota, then hundreds of insurance agents will call you and annoy you until you die :p pretty much... that is what happened to me.
