Do the Canadian authorities know about your US green card process ?
do they nw it only at the 485 stage or all along ?

The Canadian authorities know that I applied for the green card, they don\'t know that it was approved, there is no stamp in my passport either

Is that like the 485 stage alone ? or even when the company
applies for the Labor certificate ?
IN my case the prev. company had applied for i-140 but then
i left that job so I guess it is all cancelled ?

well, when I was picked up at teh Canadian boarders, I had everything done except teh green card, so, my Employment authorization and advance paroles were with me.
