Hawaii / US Virgin Islands - Immigration Check

Could you please share your experience of travelling to hawaii and US virgin islands from continental US.

While coming back, do you have to go through immigration check?

If yes, do you need H1B stamp in your passport or H1 approval will be sufficient.

Pleae share your experiences...

I am not sure about US virgin Island but, I went to Hawaii and you do not need any immigration there....
It same like travelling within US....
 
Last time I checked

Hawaii was a full fledged state and US virgin islands are US territory, but not full fledged state....So you don't have any immigration check


Just to clarify, US Virgin island is controlled by US but they don't have any Voting right during election
