How long does it usually take to get an answer after i- 751 interview? I went at the interview more than 3 week ago, it did not go well,( io told me that i do not have police report therefor i do not have enough evidence of EXTREME abuse)... 3 weeks still no answer... so how long it might take to get that denial letter??? The extreme abuse and hardship waivers are difficult to get, not impossible. Good Faith is practical but could take a long time to be approved.
Allmeraz...there is no time frame. The CIS needs something concrete in order to deny an application. So for now its just on an inspection or processing hold. All you can do it wait, this gives you time to complete your divorce and file for good faith.
