Havent received file number yet - What to do ?

Howdy,

I sent in my application under skilled worker category back in October 2003.

I understand that they assign file numbers fairly quickly (within a month or so). I have received any communication from Buffalo office informing me what my file number is.

Is there any way other I can find out what file number was assigned to my application ?

I faxed them last week but have not heard back from them so far. How long do they take to respond ?

Any advice/ideas much appreciated.

Usually it will be delayed in giving file no , if ur documenattion lacks some thing.
It is one of the reasons.

ANyway , as u have faxed them , u will get some reply from them very soon.
Usually it takes only 1 month to get file no , nowadays.
Mine applied in Nov 18th 2003 and got file no in Dec 17th 2003
