Hi,
I applied for the political asylum in september and got interviewed in 29th october. The interview didn't went as planned since i was nervous and received NOID on 12th november which was 54th day on my asylum EAD clock. I hired a lawyer and wrote a rebuttal and emailed them, which they received it on 27th november. I haven't heard from them yet regarding the decision. I am still in status and I recently got a job in illinois and moving there. My 150 days would be on march 3rd and thats when i could file from my EAD even though i already have a OPT EAD.
I need a suggestion from the folks over here in this forum , what are my options.
Should i still continue with my OPT status and try for H1B...Green Card if lucky and wait to apply for the asylum EAD card not until i am about to get out of status. Or should i file for the EAD on march 3rd?
If USCIS decided to give me final denial would't they mail me the final denial? or not?
Thanks
