Have two nationalities, which one I should use for Canada PR stamping

Hi Guys!
I have two passports, Pakistani & Australian, now that I have received the passport request for my canada PR application, I am a little confused about (consequences/advantages of) which passport to use for PR visa. May be some body out there can help me in making a decision. Any one?

Thanks.

Didn't you send copies of your passport along with the passport number etc in your application? I would assume you would use the one that you mentioned in your PR application.

Thanx for reply StonedAnt. I applied on "Pak" passport THREE&1/2 years ago in Buffalo. I was recently called for interview in LA, so I flew from Sydney to LA on visa exemption and presented both passport in interveiw. Visa officer asked me which passport I will use for Canada PR, at the time I said "I have to think about it" and she agreed with me.

I am thinking that If I use Australian passport for Canada PR then I don't have to carry two passports all the time while travelling to Europe or USA (Visa Free Entry).

Any suggestions?

If you had a choice - Pak ppt and an Australian ppt, which one would you choose? (assuming you travel considerably and live out of Pakistan) The answer is very simple...

Do you still want us to answer? :)

Good luck!

Thanx bigboy, I just wanted to know any consequences that I might can't forsee at this point if I use Aussie ppt, and yes you don't have to spell it out for me.

Just curious,

If you are already an Australian Citizen, why do you want to move to Canada ?

Is it for economic or Family reasons ?
