Hi Folks,

I have a GC and I have to bring my parents to live with me permenantly. They have visitor\'s visa and usually when they have come in the past they have had a valid I-94 cards for anywhere between a year to 2 years.

Now I want to bring them here to the US to stay with us permenantly. We would like to avoid travelling back and forth between Asia and the US

HOW DO I PROCEED ?? PLEASE SHARE VIEWS AND IDEAS.

Joe is right...only a US citizen can sponsor GC for their parents, not GC holders.

if that\'s what you meant by \'permanently\'
 
Any little more details about sponsoring parents for GC???

Hi Patme/JoeF,
Do you guys have any further first step details about when do you have to start parents\' GC applications - before or after getting citizenship?
Where else can I find more details?
I think that it will save lot of time, if someone can start before or right about the time one can get citizenship, right!

I appreciate anyone\'s input/thoughts!
