My fiance was given his deportation officers name and a number and was told that I could check his case status online but no further information was given. No website address. No agency name. ?? Can somebody please point me in the right direction.

Thanks

I was told that ICE often combs the forums for information and to be careful about what you post....and I didn't get much of a response.

Not really true. Look at the stuff that's posted on here - some of it's way worse than yours. You're going to scare yourself into a hole.

I doubt any information in these forums is any use to a real investigator, without any way to tie it to an IP address and then tie that to a person.

Well in that case... my fiance was detained crossing several years ago. He was released in the U.S. and DHS has provided him with a work permit every year since. Recently it was determined that due to an identity issue his services are no longer of use and for his safety they had to bring him in and are sending him to his country. He is now in a detention facility. After his transfer to the DRO facility they apparently picked up on a charge - that was ultimately dismissed and are now saying that is the reason for his deportation...

...just want to get Voluntary Departure considering the circumstances. We got our marriage license a few weeks ago...definately didnt see this coming.

Someone is bullshitting you. There is no website to give you the information you seek, armed with his A-number, you could call the courts and see when his next court date is, and if he was ordered deported.
Call his Deportation Officer...
