Have a valid visa, do we need AP?

Hi guys, my wife has a valid h4 visa, does she need a AP to travel out of the country. I had filed my I-485 including her and completed our finger printing last month. thanks in advance.

Depends, if u or ur spouse using EAD then u have given up ur H1 status. In this case u must have AP before leaving country. Otherwise u r fine.
