Hello,

It is more than 4 agonizing months since I have applied for AOS along with AP and EAD. I have received my AP within a month, but I still have not received my EAD.

I was wondering if the freeze on approvals of AOS have actually been carried on over to EADs and AP? Any comments?

Has anyone on this board, who has applied for (the first time and not a renewal) EAD in the month of August been lucky and has got an EAD?

Any response will be helpful.

Looks like only 485 and citizenship is affected. In fact CSC is working on other petitions at good speed (what is "good" ?). I had a I-140 (company name and ownership structure change amended petition) pending, applied in Sept., RFE last month around 2nd week (don't know what was that about, never cared to ask), replied within a week, approved yesterday (within 2 weeks of receipt of RFE response).

This is a charm compared to 2 years CSC took during my original I-140...
