Has Chennai consulate changed policy on DS-157 form recently??

Hi,

I got an appointment for my parents visa in Chennai consulate around second week of August on the VFS website and at that time I saw links to fill up both the DS-156 & DS-157 forms, which I filled up. But I re-scheduled (preponed...had to cancel and redo the whole process) their appt. date couple of weeks back but this time I was not prompted to fill up DS-157 form. Both my parents are above 60years. Has the consulate relaxed their policy for filling the DS-157 for people above certain age. I don't know what's going on. Neither the VFS or the consulate website have anything information about this.

Has anyone else who has booked an appt for their folks in the last few weeks noticed this change. I hope it's not a bug in the VFS system.

If they do require a DS-157 how do I do that now.

They corrected their earlier mistake. The law states only males between ages 15-55 need to fill DS-157 but with online appoinment thing they made everyone do it.
