I came to USA in 2005 on H4 visa initially then later turned to H1 B(in early 2006, no stamping since i didn't leave the country) and again recently we got EAD thru my husband. I started working on EAD. Its been long time so i planned to go to India(with my AP).
My question is,
Since i didn't leave the country, had no stamping what so ever. Now since i have my EAD and AP. Can i come back to USA or do i need to go for stamping. I'm not sure why stamping is necessary but a flight attendent told me i need to get it stamped even after seeing EAD and AP. Let me know if i need to go for stamping then i'll come back on H4 again.
Note: Contacted my attorney and they confirmed i don't need any stamping.
Please let me know what i need to do.
