has anyone tried to Pre-pone interview date?

My interview date has been scheduled for May 03, would be almost 75 days since I received the interview notice in the mail.

Has anyone tried to pre-pone it to an earlier date...If so, could you post your experience(s)..

If by pre-pone (is that even a word?) you mean to ask bring the interview date up, then in most likelihood, that will not be possible. However, if you have proper reason, USCIS (local DO) can postpone the interview. E.g., one of my friends had their interviews (husband and wife) postponed in the last minute because of childbirth.

You cannot advance your interview date. Period.

Yes, if you were able to get an earlier date, everyone would be trying to get an earlier date. You either go to the one assinged to you or you attempt to postpone it to a later date if you can't make that one...

you were all correct...I spoke with an IO this afternoon and once the interview date has been scheduled, you cannot request an earlier date but certainly can request a latter date.
