Hi,

Has anyone successfully made an Infopass appointment for Charlotte, NC recently?

I tried last night and this morning many many times, but always got this message:
*********************************************************
At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later.
*********************************************************

What does this message mean?

I tried different zip codes in NC, always the same results. But I tested some zip codes in other states, it shows a page to enter user information which seems correct.

If you know any information or have any experience with this, please help!

Thanks

Yes, I got the same message when I tried to take an info pass. That message means that there are no more appointments available for the category you selected, for the next two weeks. Keep trying you may get one, coz some people cancel the appointments too.

I had to take an EAD info pass for wednesday Nov 10th. I was shown this message, and then I kept tying till one slot opened up and grabbed it. And I tried to see if there is one more, but the same message came up.

Keep Trying!!!!

Thanks a lot for the reply.

There is one strange thing:

If I choose "You have received an approval letter or Form I-797C from the Service Center or local office instructing you to come into the office for alien identification card processing / passport stamp." OR "You wish to speak to an immigration officer.", it ways shows "At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later.".

But if I choose "It has been more than 90 days since you filed an I-765 and you did not receive an Employment Authorization Card.", I get the correct page to fill in my information.

What I really need is to get my passport stamped, but can I just choose "It has been more than 90 days since you filed an I-765 and you did not receive an Employment Authorization Card." to get an appointment? Will they allow this? What is the difference between different types to make an appoitment?

Thanks

I think for ADIT Processing type of appointment, such as the passport stamp, you should select the one that specifically says so. I'm not really sure if it would make a difference if you choose otherwise. I remember in Charlotte, they just checked if you have an InfoPass appointment printout at the gate - then once inside, another officer (at the first window) would check your appointment against a list of names in an spreadsheet, with the appointment time, cross the name out, then give you a number that will appear later on the monitor. When your time is ready, they ask for the required documents - I think they know beforehand why you're there based on your appointment type. Goodluck!

It is better you say what you want...Don't give any false info even you are going for some good thing.

All the best.

"It has been more than 90 days since you filed an I-765 and you did not receive an Employment Authorization Card."

The above option is only for EAD renewal and it is done only on Wednesdays. You can see the available dates will be only wednesdays for this option.

PASSPORT STAMPING IS NOT DONE ON WEDNESDAY.

Thank you all for the userful information. I will try more times to see if I can get one.....

Thanks again
