Has anyone received any forwarded mail from USCIS?

My best friend who had to leave US went to the post office and changed her address to mine and I got all her mail from USCIS. Hi tinas. Thanks this does help. Just curious, which state is your friend in? I am hoping to find someone from California. I just moved to Texas. I read conflicting posts regarding this. Some receive the mails from USCIS while others don't. I actually received a forwarded mail from them but it was just an appointment letter. I am waiting for my actual greencard now. Thank you so much!

No, I did get my Recepts and Biometrics but one the "Request of evidence" I didn't get so I did the "Infopass" thing and they told me to write to the Service center that is processing my case and tell them my situation, I just sent the letter yesterday.

It's a recommendation but I am not sure if it's enforce...it depends if the envelope does not indicate the mark of return to sender. If the mail does not indicate that mark then the mail should be forwarded.
Anyway, you must put your AR-11 because USPS will stop forwarding your mail sometime and you must follow the instructions, you never know when those will be enforce or for whatever reason come up in the future. Plus, all the things through the USCIS will be considering your old address.

Ok wait a minute so it was a good idea of me to Mail a letter to the Service center that my case is at? cause im not getting any mail so thats why I mailed them a letter.
our interview letter was forwarded, but my husband's actual greencard was not. We received it about a week after changing our address and there were no markings on the envelope that said not to forward it. I would definitely change your address with the USCIS to wherever you want your mail to be sent. I think the whole thing is kinda random, but not worth the risk of not getting your gc.
