Has anyone rec'd FP notice after 485 approval?

Guys,

My 485 Appplication got approved on 8/13 (pp stamping on 8/16) and I received a FP2 notice on 8/25. Has this happened to anyone. I called up the 1-800# and they advised to show up on the scheduled date just so that there are no complications later on so,I am going to go the INS center on the scheduled day.
Appreciate if you could share your views on this.
 
It never happened to me, yet. :)

But, check the FP notice. It says if the petition is already approved, ignore FP notice.
 
I remember, some guru in this forum suggested you can discard FP notice (since it already approved). Any how, check with your attorney
