I am an Indian National. My Husband and daughters are all Canadian Citizens. i applied for a B2 visa at Chennai so that we could go on avacation this spring to canada and the u.s.
Guess what, the officer rejected my application. All along he was worried about my husband and daughters trying to enter the States. he said they needed border crossing cards. I have found out that this applies only to Mexicans. So i have been denied a visaunder 214(b) for having retained my Indian Citizenship when my husband and daughters can still fly to the U.s. by just flashing their citizenship card. Has anybody had a similiar experience?
