has anyone got this messahe after EAD approved

I applied for my 2nd EAD on july 27 04 and recieved email on October 8th saing that my case has been approved on Oct 7th. They have requested for new card and will mail it when its ready.....


Today again I got this email


Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On October 13, 2004, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.


Any idea what can be this about?

Yes, these are standard messages. On approval the message says 'After approving the case we order you a new card'. Then after couple of days or so, when card is ready they change message to the one you got. Don't worry its as per SOP !
 
I applied for I140/I485/EAD/AP concurrent - NSC (ND 08/25/03)
My I140 was denied on education grounds.
Filed Motion to Reconsider and I140 was approved 07/20/04
Applied for EAD renewal online for me and spouse on 08/03/04

Wife got EAD card on 10/05/04. Mine is still pending.
Why did mine not get approved with my wife ? Is it because of my I140 denial before. My I485/EAD/AP too was denied at that time.
 
USCIS sends two mails regarding AP and EAD once the application is approved. One approval notice, another EAD card ordered notice. In my case, I got card ordered notice e-mail first and then... your case has been approved....e-mail after that.
