Has anyone got H1B 7th year extension?

One of my friend got 7th year extension. According to him if the Labor has been filed >=365 days then you are eligible for filing for extension (INS gives extensions in terms of 1yr after 6year time period) till your GC has been approved or till you get your EAD.

I got 7th Yr extension
My 6yrs expired on 01/23 and we were waiting for our EAD and AP as we filed them in Oct. We got bad news about EAD and AP, so we filed H1 extention on Jan 10. Normal processing takes about 4 months if you are lucky. In Feb, I had to go for premium processing as I had to travel. My H1 got approved in the first week of March and I got the stamping done in a week, back in the US in Apr. I guess one of the best cases for 7th year extension. Don't apply for revalidation of H1 in the US. Go to your home country and visit parents etc , and your visa will be ready by then. Good Luck!

7th year stamping in India

Did you face any problems in getting visa stamping for 7th year. Did you get it done in India. I will be getting my 7th year extension in August. My lawyer told me to get it revalidate in US and then travel. I am planning to go to India (Delhi) in Sept. Was there any extra security checks. Last time I got visa stamped in 1999. Since then I believe they have changed form etc. Have you heard about TTK visa services, for using DROP BOX.
