Has Anyone Experienced this Tricky behavior of USCIS?

I have taken my asylum interview two weeks ago in San Francisco, and at the end of the interview, I received a letter asking me to pick up my decision today.

However, I went to the office today, and they told me the decision is not available, they will mail it to me in the following days.

Is there any implication of this behavior? Have anyone experienced this before?

It happens ALL the time. They don't ever reach decisions in 2 weeks. It's actually normal. Don't worry about it. You could wait anywhere from 2 months to 2 years or more for a decision, there's no way to tell.

Yes. This is very normal. Could you share your timeline?
When did you apply?

I applied on 9th September, and get interview notification on 2th December.
Did you send your I-589 file to Nebraska office?
When did you receive your biometric notice?
I applied last week (Nebraska) and I'm waiting for the notice. They are being very slow recently.

It is normal. Anything can happen.

Someone's interview gets cancelled on the day of interview.
Someone is required a second interview.

So these things are not related to approval/decline probabilities, right?

Possibilities: (1) You are in legal status now. (2) Your background check has not been completed yet. (3) backlog of cases.

Someone's interview gets cancelled on the day of interview.
Reason: a shortage of asylum officers on that day.

Someone is required a second interview.
Possibility: This guy enters without inspection.
