Has anyone checked the AVM using A#

I checked it twice using my A3 and it said wrong number and when I use my EAC number it tells me the status of EAD. Is some thing wrong over here.

You have to use the EAC number or receipt number to
access the AVM. Even when you talk to IIO they
ask for EAC number not A#.

I used that too but it tells me the status of my EAD (Nov99) and I have got my FP done in (AUG99)..

You must be using EAC number for your EAD application.
Your I-485 EAC number is different because you get a
different EAC (receipt) number for different applications.

Don\'t you have a receipt notice of I-485 application?
If you do, EAC number should be on there. And if
you hired a lawyer he/she will have the receipt notice.
Get it from him/her.
