Has anyone changed interview location?

When I sent my forms to the KCC in July, I applied to have my interview in London. I then couldn't face another winter in London, so left and am now in Sydney. I contacted the KCC early January to change my interview (I am anticipating my interview to be in May). They told me exactly what to email them, and I did. I didn't get any repsonse, so sent another yesterday asking for confirmation that my interview location could be changed. I received a response back this morning saying

'The information you provided will be included in your case file for review.'

Ummmmmm. What does this mean? If they can't or won't change my interview I really need to know, as I will need to get myself back to London, and also need to apply for my police check through the embassy I will be having my interview at.

Any suggestions?

If KCC will not respond, I think you should wait until you get the "official" interview letter. If the interview letter says London then you have to submit a request at the US embassy in Sydney to take your case. Keep in mind that in order to be eligible for this transfer you have to show proof that you are a resident, national or citizen of Australia.

That means they have updated your file to include the new interview location. Since your case number is yet to be current, you shouldn't worry.
