Has anybody got passport stamp without original I94 ? Please read inside

My lawyer has send the original I94 to INS with my I485 application. INS has not returned yet.
My approval letter says that for passport stamping I94 is required. So I am wondering whether anybody with
this situation got passport stamped without original I94.

Somebody please post
