Harrisburg Dates and File Numbers??

My lawyer applied for my labor at the Harrisburg SESA office and when i asked him for a file number for tracking purposes he said that the SESA office in Harrisburg does not issue any such file numbers.

Is this statement true??

The lawyer also stated that once its approved from Harrisburg and sent to Philly is when i will get some sort of indication from Harrisburg or from Philly.

I am not to clear no what is happening. Can some with a similar experience please explain.

We applied back in July 2002, we never received any confirmation or case # from Harrisburg SESA. Within two weeks we got letter from SESA regarding approval at local level and they also confirmed sending application to Philly Regional DOL. After contacting Philly DOL regional, we got the case number.
