Could you please share your stamping experience (just an outline and/or list of docs submitted would do) - Get your passport (also take old passports if u have any..they will cancel your Visas till date in passports) and alll I-94s (issued at the airport..not your H1B) EAD and all APs + 2 immigration pictures.....they will take EAD and APs back. NOthing else is needed....Do take with you the Approval Notice....they will take that back too!
I went there Friday 10am and out by 11am.
But,
1. They didn't cancel the visa on the old passport - infact I told him I have 2 passports and he just asked for the new one. Anyway my visa expired in March 2001
2. He didn't get the AP back - I specifically asked him if he wanted that - he said 'no'.
