Hardly any July/Aug approvals....whats going on!!!!!

Guys,

Hope I am reading this correct ...!!!There arent much July /Aug approvals...
We are seeing a lotta sep/Oct approvals

Also my 485 online message says
"Your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received on August 13, 2003. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 365 and 540 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete."

Anybody else in this situation.....
I know Depesh7373, dssdss are with me....anyone else ????


Also any thoughts as to how to go about this ... :eek:
 
For this period -

1. USCIS has approved / transferded around 50% cases during 20 Oct - 05 Nov

2. They have tocuhed lot of cases 1 Dec - 10 Dec

3. They have already assigned all cases with someone ( early nov 8- 11 ) ( LUD change )

4. Expect something to happen in < 60 days of last LUD or < 90 days of FP

This is based on 500 EAC # where only 7 are in resume status. Rest all approved or transfered.

Right now most of cases they are approving is in Sept 20 - Oct 10 region.

Don't loose hope yet. Its not over.

Ok..So what about those apps that show "App received...blah blah..." but FP is done 2 1/2 months back... Not sure what to make of this !!!!!!!!!

Also does that mean we are not gonna see any more July /Aug approvals in a burst !!!!!! July /Aug aprovals will now going forward come down to a trickle????? :)
 
For those who filed in the second haf of 2003, CIS seems to go from the later months to the earlier once, just as they issued FPs first to those who filed in October 2003 and then to those who filed in July -- August.

This does seem unfair. However, given that there is at least one unadjudicated late 2001 filer in the forum, soon to go for his FP3, as well as unadjudicated 2002 applicants, we are relatively fortunate.

Heard different versions....pls tell me exactly what options to press to get those damned customer reps online?

Ok so I dial - 1 800 375 5283 and then press 1 for english and then what???

this may not be true... lucky run of our "batch" is over..scan shows that they approved / trans. 50% cases during 20 Oct - 5 Nov. ( and i got FP1 for my wife..possible when they looked to approve me they mailed out that FP )

some folks have gone to received to approved status w/o any status change in between..

hope is still there when they do "cleanup" / consolidation activity before month end..for sure they are not processing this batch

What exactly do you mean by "our batch"?
 
Yes, I saw those summer approvals yesterday on rupnet, as well as a few October approvals. In the forum, nonetheless, we saw mostly October -- December approvals.

What I said was meant to be taken as the descripition of an overall trend rather than in a strict sense. I did not mean to suggest that Vermont is adjudicating October cases only, and they will adjudicate July -- August cases only after they complete all October cases. What was meant, rather, that they seem to be adjudicating more October cases than July -- August cases at this particular point, and this is the reason why orangetreats originated this thread on the first place.

Could you provide a links to the scans that show 50% of Julky -- August cases as completed? Thanks!
 
Orangetreats - I am in the same boat as you. 485 received on 8/21 - and status still says that it was received on...blah, blah blah.....The LUD did update once to 11/17. FP was done on 10/8 (about 2.5 months ago).....

Still waiting.....

My co-worked with received date 8/22 and same FP date got his approval two and a half weeks ago....
 
ND 070103 approved 12/15/04

Hello all: Been here many times posting for the first time. After a gruesome journeym my I485 was fianlly approved on 12/15/04 (LUD 11/22/04) (FP1 10/26/04). Yet to get any news about my wife's I485 same ND, LUD, FP.

this can give you fair idea about how july cases are doing ( this is 14th july scan only )..

485 requires luck as welll..one of my friend have FP1 on 3 PM ( mine was at 1 PM at same centre ) .. he got approved on 15th Oct ( < 1 month time )

Yesterday I rescanned 40 cases for my ND, which is 8/8/03. For that particular date, the percentage of completed cases is much closer to 25% than it is to 50%.

What do you think about Mar '03 filers ???

My PD is 08/2002 (DE).
1-140 ND -03/31/2003 - AD on 07/31/2003
1-485 ND -03/31/2003 - AD ??

my FP1 done on 09/02/2004 spouse FP1 on 09/11/2004
