EAD/AP – 03/08/2004 Approved
I-140 – 06/08/2004 Approved
FP/I485 : ?

Family:
ND EAD/AP/I-485 is 02/13/2004
RFE : EAD/AP – 05/26/2004 (RFE : clear copies of the personal data pages in passport )
Submitted the documents on 06/07/2004 and last updated date changed 06/09/2004

I am really happy , yesterday I got the email and took day off :p ,
This form has been lot of helpful ,imp discussions , issues , and also fun , everyday at least one time I would login for the past 1 year still I will , I would read all your postings Jharkhandi , dashDurai , karns , pathikb , Brigand …. u guys are given lot of support pl continue.

I have some questions.
I have an offer from my client to join them , which I want too. Can I join them ? will there be any issues with my old employer ? what is the next step I should do ? ,
When can I expect my FP ?

You can join your company now and file for AC21, since you have already completed 180 days after filing 485.

Finger Printing should atleast take another 5 months as they are currently working on Citizenship and 2nd finger printing notices for folks filed during May 2002, June 2002.. Once that is all done, then it would be our turn. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Your new company should probably send a letter to INS, that you are doing the same kind of job as stated in your labor certification. Hope this would help.

Thanks , I once again Congrats you(Want GC Soon) on your I-140 approval , did u get FP done ? , is FP related to I-140 (I mean to old company ) , you think it is better to notify INS about the New job.

Now for your next step - ask Urmila to cook nice food for our Laxman and play with bow and arrows. Overtake a cop at 90 MPH and then if she is lady - whistle at her. Don't forget to wink. You will have good questions in 485 forum then.

My Urmila is good cook :) . See what ????, I can say lady in USA :D , daily I check my astro it is like US weather , u can’t depend on that :D , take it is easy guys :cool:

I thought AC21 can be used only after 180 days from the 140 approved date.
i.e, from the date 140 is approved and 180 days there after,
if they are filed concurrent

correct?

Nope. 180 days after filing 485.

Its always better to notify INS that you have changed employers especially when using AC21..

It doesnt hurt you anyway..

I know what your saying (WantGCSOON) , but I read and also my friends suggest that why do u want to give impression to INS that I was with old company just for GC (I-140) , and once your I-140 is approved jumping to diff company. Just wait if get any RFE then u submit the letter from your new company, how does this sound ?
 
Yeah that makes sense too.. But in immihelp.com, I remember reading that we need to submit to INS.. Anyway we can wait until an RFE pops up..

I don’t think we will get the copy, only Attorney will get , Attorney will send a copy to us and also to Employer
