It good to see that you haven't lost your sense of humor! BTW, my 485 dates are very close to yours and NSC tells me my case is pending a namecheck. I haven't taken an INFOPASS because I am not sure if it really helps a lot. Has it been of much help. Are you thinking of approaching senators etc?

yes our dates are very close. Sometimes infopass helps, I guess it depends on the officer at Infopass, in my case it was helpful, I took an infopass on May 11, 07 and was told that my Name check was initiated on Feb 14,07 and no response from FBI yet.

Approaching Senator: I already approached senator and got a response from FBI thru senator that name check was initiated on Feb 14, 07 (so information from infopass was correct) and that on July 25, 07 my name check is in process.

I suggest you to approach senator or congressman and also go for atleast one infopass just to try. It is taking about 100 days to get a response from FBI thru senator.

Be in touch and let me know if you have any progress on your case.

Sab bhul maaf ho gayi!!

On Nov 08, 2007 I received Three APPROVAL Notices for me (Primary) and One APPROVAL Notice for my wife by USPS, and around same time received email from my Senator confirming that our case are approved. It was a surprise as there was no recent LUD, no approval email, no change in online status message, Online Message still says Case received and pending.

I called USCIS/NSC on Nov 05, IO told me that NC is cleared and they are processing Dec 2006 cases so I have to wait before someone will pick my case and review. But my case was approved same day (Nov 5th)

For my NC I received two response (on 7/25 & 10/22) via Senators saying NC Pending.

Anybody knows why Three Approval notices for me?

badhai ho kgp!!! My RD for 485 is also Feb '07. I hope I get some of your good luck too :)

I have been told in the past that my NC is pending but who knows when lady luck might smile upon us...

Keep visiting the forum. You good luck might rub off on some of us.

Keep checking on your NC hopefully you will get it soon - write to your Senator sometimes it may help
 
My wife's Green Card came home Today - November 14, 2007, I am waiting for Mine (Primary)
 
We received our green Cards - Wife's card has Fingure Prints on the front of the card.

My card does not have Fingure Print and says Fingure Print not available
Both of us completed Fingure prints on March 16, 2007 and on November 09, 2007 NSC IO at 1 800# confirmed that they have our FPs AND THEY ARE CLEAR. I called on Nov 9th because we received welcome notices but online message was saying as PENDING. so this IO looked into the system and confirmed that My wife's card was ordered but mine was not ordered they she said that let me check your FPs then she said oh yes we have your FPs, and told me that she will send an email and then your card production will be ordered. Today I received my card (wife received on Nov 13th)

I know several people reported that if USCIS does not have valid FPs they don't issue card they only issue welcome/approval notice and wait until applicant completes FPs, but I already received card and IO confirmed that my FPs are current and valid

My GC says FP not available Is this an issue at all? Anyone has this issue before? shoud I be worried and call NSC?
