Had a court case dismissed

Hi all,

A few years back some girl I worked with claimed I hit her car and after two weeks ( after which we had already sorted the matter out )she went and told the cops. I was summoned to court with two criminal offenses, leaving the scene of an accident, and failing to report an accident.
Anyway, I was arraigned and my Lawyer was able to get the case dismissed since, the girl was already paid by the company ( was using the company car)
The judge found the case to be irrelevant and dismissed the whole thing.
My CORI check comes out okay, as I work in the health care field and I have to have my background checked periodically.

Question, I am applying for a green card and should I mention this incident at my interview or just not volunteer any info as my case was dismissed??
In all other documents like job applications etc, I always say I have no criminal history ( which I don't ) and this silly case was dismissed.

I went back to the court house and they said they cleared my name and it will not show on my CORI.

Yes, you will need to mention this. All you need to do is mention the date and place of offense, and disposition. Also, include court paperwork that it was dismissed.
