H4 work query

Hi ,
I am currently on H1B. My wife recently (on H4) has got a job offer. The employer is willing to sponsor her H1. But this would be valid since Oct2006.
However the employer wants her to join asap, but since they cannot hire her as a full time employ till Oct2006, dont know how to make salary payments.

One thing the employer suggested is that I open a company, and they would make payments to the company. Can I open a company on H1B.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

It is illegal for H4 to work. Not full time, not part time and not even voluntary for most organizations.

Please consider implications to your future stay before you take next steps.
